When I was really young I knew I wanted to be an astronaut – I loved space.

Then I wanted to be a book writer (I didn’t know the word author) … because I love Roald Dahl.

After that I trained as a musician for a long time and I wanted to be a composer (you can notice I never had an idea at this point)

I became a secondary school student and realised I didn’t have a good idea so i decided I would never know. I still loved music and science and maths… Eventually I started just enjoying the subjects I liked (I still hated some subjects – I was wrong) but I decided to not pick a job… This cost me a bit because I didn’t know what I wanted to do…

We grow up – we change our choices – but if you’re young and follow what you love – so often the right career becomes clear… not straight away but keep discussing options with everyone.

………. I’d kind of like to be an astronaut again………
