Normally is a relative term! Some people travel a LOT for work (well I am not even talking about airline pilots or flight attendants). I am not a businessman and I do not have to sell stuff or make deals with people in many different parts of the world, so in that sense I do not travel a LOT.

However, being a scientist, it is my responsibility to let the world know what I am working on, and the cool science that we are discovering. So I do travel to conferences, meetings, workshops all over the world (mainly in USA and Europe) to present the science and talk to people who are working in a similar area of research.
