I really enjoyed school, but I did find physics and biology pretty hard. They didn’t come as naturally to me as other subjects. Overall, I did well in science during my GCSEs because I worked really hard. Although it was hard work, it was worth it because I feel it gave me a good grounding in the basics. Looking back, I wish I had done chemistry or physics at A level, because I use these topics a lot in geology and would probably be more confident in them now if I had kept on with them back then!
