      My MOST favorite science experiment – and it still fascinates me – is the upside down water glass science experiment 🙂

      Stick around cause I’ve got a couple of examples (featuring explosions)! – One I have mentioned before which was on the hunt for a specific type of molecule on a surface. We found some lovely networks of this and I think these have to be some of the nicest images I have:

      We then got to look at the molecule close up and you could really see that the internal structure matched models of molecule that we had. This made me very excited:

      BUT

      You guys may want something a bit bigger so I have to recall that for a show we did. I dropped an urn of boiling water into 25 litres of liquid nitrogen to make a explosion and a cloud. Some highlights for you:
