I really hope not! In theory, yes, it could happen! If it did, it would rip away our atmosphere and our oceans, then the rock beneath our feet! BUT- its incredibly unlikely. Black holes are pretty rare. And our situation as a nice planet for life to thrive on, with oceans and humans and trees, is also amazingly rare. The chance that we would meet a black hole in space one day is therefore pretty remote… although, black holes have been found within our galaxy (the Milky Way)- but very very very very very very VERY (!) far away! https://www.theguardian.com/science/2017/sep/04/supermassive-black-hole-discovered-near-heart-of-the-milky-way
